@Raving Brit: David Carr was the first quarterback for the Houston Texans and a notorious first round draft bust in the NFL. He was known for making dumb decisions on the field and getting intercepted.

Flat? Maybe that's why he played so poorly. :P

@STrRedWolf: Except (1) Donovan actually accomplished some things in his career (Carr has a Super Bowl ring, but it was from riding the bench while Eli Manning did all the work) and (2) it's another piece of Houston trivia, which I pepper the comic with from time to time given the setting.
