It's kind of like "the lady and the tiger", except there's no lady--just three tigers. With rabies.

- Looks like the gang have to explain the three sinister choices they were stuck with, and why they chose the ones they did.

Of course, they could have lived anonymously on Earth and NOT fought monsters, but darn that Chronic Hero Syndrome!

How are you guys like the page redesign, BTW?

Also, the word "Radical" is too radical for them. Instead, please use the phrase "overly-sweeping and needing a swift application of magic to rectify". It rolls right off the tongue.

I don't think there's any "what if" in this scenario. I'm pretty sure the elders *do* think the gag order applies to them.

As much as I'm disliking Nick's acerbic tone, he's got a point. Any of the less ethical elders (I'm looking at YOU Cornelius!) finds out about this reveal, there will be severe repercussions, enchanter and mortal alike. As I looked back at the series, I also saw the enchanter tribunal wouldn't interfere if the girls retained anonymyity. Looks like that's out the window - how long till the news reaches 'home'?

Also If Calpurnia now knows that Peter knows, what's to stop her from using the threat of reporting as leverage to drive him and Ally apart?

All to assuage the girls' guilt about hiding from their husbands. Is it worth it if they could be exiled?

@tazel: Well keep in mind, they did get support from the majority of the council to reveal this to their husbands, but ONLY their husbands. The rest of mortals, no.

@DarkwingDork:

First: of all doing ANY sort of recreational pharmaceuticals does NOT coincided with with the great communicator.
Second: the mess we now have would have completely overwhelmed us without his preparation.

@DarkwingDork: Gotcha. Now that I saw that scene you pointed out to me, it makes more sense. I guess they don't have to fear from the Council as much anymore. But those allied to Temujin are going to use them as leverage if they know... and since there's a council spy...

SO MUCH PARANOIA!! O_O *hooks up with Ixod*

@tazel: You just like that there's another multi-armed person around. You want to go hand in hand in hand in hand with him, hmm?

@Valkeiper2012: actually, the mess you're in right now is partially BECAUSE of him.
