Not a hoax--not a dream! - Yes, this is the third update to At Arm's Length in one week. We've been lax about maintaining our normal two-per-week schedule, and our goal is to use Fox Hunt as an opportunity to regain some of the ground we've lost over the past several weeks. And if you think this is a transparent attempt to encourage our fans to set up recurring pledges on our Patreon page—or even make a one-time donation—well, you're right! We're doing this to provide our fans with solid evidence that we can handle a 3-per-week update schedule. Which is exactly what we'll do if we get a sufficient level of Patreon pledges…

@Salen: I'm actually pretty sure that IS Bridgette, as she/thay are a Vulperus (Kitsune/Cerberus cross)

@Pendrake: Psst. Writer here, I have no idea who Bridgette is. This is an original character created by me and AnimeWave.

Well, that would explain why I couldn't find a Bridgette in the archive related to Wendy. Could somebody believing that this is Bridgette please post a link to Bridgette.

@DarkwingDork: well, here's what I know.
Kitsune are Japanese fox-spirits, usually with multiple tails.
Cerberus is a demon-dog with three heads found in Greek/Roman mythology.
Bridget is a transgender character from the Guilty Gear XX fighting game... no connection that I can see. :confused:
In summary: ... shrug. I dunno?

Addendum: Brigid (different spelling) is a goddess in Irish culture... noted for, among other things, poetry, healing and smithing. Still a long stretch to connect ANY of these four with the others, but at least we're talking about the same era as Cerberus and kitsune.

I still dunno.

Googling for "Bridgette vulperus" brings up [ http://neonigma3.deviantart.com/art/Bridgette-3in1-17395923 ]. I can see the similarity between that 'Bridgette' character and our three-headed vixen, but honestly… declaring the two to be the same character because they share the same body plan? Might as well say that Lex Luthor and Sherlock Holmes are the same character, on the grounds that "they're both the same species!"

@Cubist: Be honest though.. if you found out Lex Luther and James Moriarty were the same person, you wouldn't be surprised.

@DarkwingDork: Well, you have to admit, "VulperI" aren't that common of a species ;)

@Salen: Batman can't be Holmes. The two have met, in Detective Comics #572 (the title's 50th Anniversary issue). See [ https://crossover.bureau42.com/zbatmanholmes.html ] for a scan of the relevant panels.

@Cubist: In Lego Dimensions, Batman met Batman. So I rule nothing out. Here, have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzPmqHC0o-A
