I had a sneaking suspicion these guys were the "turn everyone into reptiles" flavour of villains!

It seems to be a recurring theme amongst misanthropic reptilians… I think perhaps representation is a little bit of a sore subject for non-mammals…

See people, this is what happens when you exclude reptiles from Zootopia! Cold-blooded doesn't have to mean cold-hearted!

@KreeTheBasilisk: That brings up an interesting question: what is the equivalent of Zootoopia in the AAL universe?

@Marshal Banana: It's a documentary about Police and Public Corruption.

@Salen: A documentary on police corruption that's also all about bigotry and they *still* don't give reptiles any representation?
Boy, I'm starting to see this guy's point.

@Marshal Banana: actually, in the Zootopia universe, Birds and reptiles actually have their own other cities. it's touched on briefly.

Noticed an error for the first time of the several times I've viewed this page. In the last panel, Zeke is missing the blood drooling from his mouth. Thought I'd point that out...

@Midday Mew: [nods] Yeah, that was an oversight. It's fixed now. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Did not expect the name Tom Clancy to pop up here. If I remember my high school reading days right, this sounds like the underlying plot of Rainbow Six. Eco-terrorists from a biotech company essentially whip up a modified Ebola virus and plan to release it at the Olympic Games in Australia (the book was published in 1998, so the book either takes place in the year 2000, or the 1996 Summer Olympics or 1998 Winter Olympics take place in Sydney in the book's universe). The idea is that with so many of the world's top athletes at the games and spectators from all over the world attending, enough infected people return home to spread the disease that the biotech firm is able to sell the "cure" to the world's panicking governments as a vaccine--which is actually the modified virus. Think Operation Dark Winter, but for real and on a world-wide apocalyptic scale. Of course the good guys catch the plot in time to foil it, or Clancy would have had a hell of a time writing sequels.

Though now this begs the question of what kind of reading Reece gets up to when nobody's looking!

And you're *real* sure that canister is closed and hasn't leaked at all, right? Contagious retroviruses seem like the sort of thing you'd want to double-check.
