Perceptive, Nick. *Very* perceptive. Maybe *too* perceptive..?

Oh yay, he has his wife's ability to read minds. I find this comedically backfiring in the next few pages.

@dracone: I thought Reese was a precog not a telepath?

Well, she is a precog, but she's also an empath. An empath is a kind of telepath that can pick up on the thoughts and emotions of others, and even manipulate emotions to some degree in some cases.

@dracone: technically an Empath JUST reads emotions and can manipulate them.

it's separate from Telepathy.

really good showing of this was that gal from the series Mutant X. bout the only telepathic thing she could do was erase mamories. but she was a ridiculously powerful Empath (causes a fear wave that's about two miles wide at one point that makes a bunch of veteran soldiers essentially wet their pants).

@Pendrake: Among her several mystical abilities, Raven of the Teen Titans is listed as being powerful Empath. And while the ability mainly does focus around the emotions of others and possible manipulation of said emotions, it is also stated her empathic abilities afford her some level of actual mind reading. Granted she can only really seem to read surface level and shallow thoughts, but the ability is there, although the thoughts usually pertain to immediate emotions when she gets their surface level thoughts

Can I say that I like the look and body type of the big tigress without it being taken the wrong way.
I like, and curious of her background and out of work life (social life).

@WhippetWild: it is always nice to see realistic figures on characters.

mean, hell, Ally, Sheila and Reece ARE realistic too, none of them is ridiculously toned or massive busted, and they still kick a lot of ass (Sheila's the fittest looking, but i'd also chalk that up to her preference for physical combat).

I really hate Liefield for causing what he did with comics.

@dracone: hence not really mind reading, so much as "emotion reading"

Still handy, since you can anticipate an attack in most cases by reading an intent to harm.

Course, in comics, Empaths tend to have problems with folks that have a fine control of their emotions, like, say, a Martial Arts Master.

@dracone: now, the precog part of reece's abilities is definitely Nick correctly predicting what that gal wanted as her meal.
