Technicaly christmas isn't Jesuses birthday. It was set as such by early church fathers because they couldn't stop people from celebrating the winter solstice, whitch at the time was a very important pagan holiday.

True, supposedly he was born sometime in the Spring, but still, it's the day Christians celebrate his birth. And I'm sure the druids didn't like having their pagan winter festival co-opted...
